Available in season (june through to march) everyday, unless pegs being used for a contest.
Day permits cost £4 per rod, including parking. A season permit is also available for £40.
Permits are to be purchased at the pub before you start fishing.
There is a water bailiff who checks on the waters and offers help and advice. He also checks your permit and licence are valid.
To fish you must hold an Environment Agency licence, available from the post office.
Children are welcome accompanied by a responsible adult.
Anybody fishing does so at their own risk, due to the river being a dangerous place.
